YEAR GROUP - Y5/6

OVERVIEW - This is an ACHIEVE competition, meaning it is a competitive opportunity to support pupils to reach their athletic potential.  Games will be 7-min halves with rolling subs throughout the games, which will refereed by DC Leaders. 

Rules of Association Football apply apart from the following variations:  

- Each school can bring a maximum of 10 players, with 7 players on the pitch at any time. Rolling substitutes are allowed.

- no offside  

- rolling substitutes during a stoppage of play.  

- All players should receive equal playing time where possible  

- goal kicks can be taken from anywhere within the penalty area 

 - all free-kicks are DIRECT 

 - all opposing players must be AT LEAST 5 yards from the ball at the taking of freekicks, corner kicks and kick-offs.
